Term 1 : Tuesday 3rd February
Our year starts on Tuesday 3rd Feb at 9.15am and we have loads of exciting things planned!
Hopefully it’ll be a beautiful day and our tamariki will be able to hoon around outside. I’ll be looking for some volunteers to help me harvest the garlic and no doubt there will be a lot of tomato and strawberry picking going on!

Nutrition Fund application successful!
We’re delighted and excited to announce our successful bid for funding through the Canterbury District Health Board’s Nutrition Fund.
We have been allocated $3700 for 2009 and $500 for 2010.
The fund will enable us to set up a wonderful edible garden, buy some kitchen equipment for processing the food we grow, to cook and share, and it also provides funding for a water cooler.

Community Trust funding received
We’re very excited to have received money for some new play equipment from the Canterbury Community Trust. We plan to replace some of our old outdoor play equipment and buy a couple of these fantastic wooden running bikes by Wishbone Designs.
